Producing Director Jeff Melman Joins MTV’s ‘Finding Carter’

“Malcolm in a Middle” alum Jeff Melman has assimilated MTV’s “Finding Carter,” as a producing executive and supervising producerVariety has schooled exclusively.

Melman has destined and constructed some new episodes of “Finding Carter,” that is tighten to jacket the second half of a second season.

Finding Carter,” combined by Emily Silver, follows Carter (Kathryn Prescott), a teenage lady who thinks she has a ideal life until a military tell her she was abducted as a toddler and a lady she believes is her biological mother is indeed her kidnapper. The play revolves around her new life, as she returns to her genuine family who suspicion they had mislaid her, and navigates mint parents, a twin sister, high propagandize and boys.

Melman’s other directing credits include “Two and a Half Men,” “Modern Family,” “Odd Mom Out,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Frasier,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Community” and “Grey’s Anatomy” for that he was nominated for a DGA Award. He was also nominated for dual Emmys for his work as a producing executive on “Malcolm in a Middle.” Melman is repped by APA.

Finding Carter” is now on MTV Tuesdays during 10:00 p.m.
