You’re Not Gonna Wanna “Kiss The Girl” In This Teaser For Dark Mermaid Series ‘Siren’

Freeform continues to exam new waters.  First, they are delving into a Marvel Universe with ‘Cloak Dagger’.  Now comes ‘Siren’ a dim mermaid tail story about a puzzling immature lady named Ryn (played by ‘Game of Thrones’ alum Eline Powell) who shows adult in a city of Bristol Cove, which, fable has it, was once a home to genuine mermaids.  She is befriended by dual sea biologists, Ben (Alex Roe, ‘The 5th Wave’) and Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola, ‘An American Exorcism’) who contingency discover “what gathering this primal hunter of a low sea to land — and are there some-more like her out there?”

Coincidentally, Powell seemed as “Syren #2” in final year’s wave ‘King Arthur: Legend of a Sword’.

Emily Whitesell (‘Finding Carter’) serves as showrunner and executive writer along with Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb.  The expel also includes Sibongile Mlambo (‘Lost In Space’, ‘Teen Wolf’), Rena Owen (‘The Last Witch Hunter’, ‘The Orville’), Chad Rook (‘Supernatural’, ‘War for a Planet of a Apes’) and Ian Verdun (‘Life’s A Drag’, ‘Lucifer’).  Emily Whitesell destined a pilot, that was created by Eric Wald, who co-created a array with Dean White.  The plan was formerly famous as ‘The Deep’.

‘Siren’ will arrive on Freeform on Thursday, Mar 29 during 8pm EST.  It only so happens that this date is International Mermaid Day.  Will we be holding a drop with this new series?
